Wiimote Yet To Be Finalized?

I seems that reinventing the way we play isn’t all peaches and cream. Recent comments by Shigeru Miyamoto with Japan’s Famitsu magazine indicate that gamers may have not yet seen the finalized design of the Nintendo Wii controller. Speaking of the difficulties of designing the unique controller Miyamoto at one point let slip that “[Nintendo is] still debating on the area of how many buttons to use.” Perhaps referencing lingering internal criticisms, the comment may also be a precursor to further hardware changes. If the latter is true we can safely assume that the changes will not drastically alter the now famous design seen at this year’s E3.
