WiiBlog Game Profiles Debut

Today I’m pleased to announce a new feature for WiiBlog.net. The Game Profiles page is up now, which from now on will be updated daily. Sometimes twice daily.

I like to think that WiiBlog is all about the games. Yea, sometimes I’ll go on rants about politicians out to get games. Or I’ll voice my concerns about “hardcore” gamers not showing any love to the Nintendo Wii. For the most part though I like to think it’s all about the games.

This feeling is why I decided to release the Game Profiles section on WiiBlog. Here I will feature various games, from ones that have been released, to those that are upcoming. Here is a rough outline of how the Games Profile Page will look:

Game Title
Description/publisher & developer/ release date
Box Art or Screen
Reviews
Metacritic Score
Screenshots
Videos

With the addition of Game Profiles, I really want to open this up to the readers. If you have a game you want featured, I will gladly post it on the next Game Profile update. To go further, if you email me a game profile, with the outline I have listed above, I will feature it on the site. Which means you will be an honorary author (you’ll get your name listed on the posts) for WiiBlog. If you submit enough game profiles, I potentially will add you as an author for the site.

I would also appreciate it if readers would keep me posted on what needs updated on certain Game Profiles. I will do my best to go through and make sure that all of them stay as current as possible. As time goes on, and more get listed this will be a little harder to do. With your help I really want to see this take off.

Here is the link to the Game Profiles section & the different games I featured for today’s launch.

Awesome! I really like the format, and look forward to seeing the collection grow as time goes on.

Maybe if things go really well, I’ll even be able to contribute a bit myself. :)

One suggestion – try to do the new Wiiware/virtual console titles on Monday if you can.

ahhh, good idea Step I will definitely implement that. Might eventually give Virtual Console its own Game Profiles section. I want to see how this does before I start anything else though….thanks for the encouragement
