Wii sequel to popular series in works?

The latest issue of NintendoDream are reporting that a “sequel to a famous games series is going to be announced soon.”
Speculation among websites including gamefront.de seem to believe the title will be for Nintendo Wii, although going by the rather dodgy translation, there’s little information to support this.
If it is indeed a sequel to an already existing franchise from Nintendo, then there’s ample content to start poking a guess at - Pikmin, Star Fox, Mario Kart just to name a few.

i probably shouldn’t tell you, but it’s “Kid Icarus: Carrier of the Harp” coming out Q1 of 2008
