Nintendo failed to deliver any announcement regarding launch preperations for its next-gen console, the Wii, at the Leipzig Games Convention this week.
However, Nintendo of Europe did offer a somewhat rough price target for the new system, reaffirming the company’s decision to offer next-gen gaming at a low and affordable price. Speaking to Reuters, Bernd Fakesch of Nintendo Germany stated “the price has not been decided yet, but I expect it to be…less than 250 euros.”Â
Earlier this year the firm commited to a price tag less than $250 USD, are expected to reveal the official price and date for the console this September, possibly at the Tokyo Games Show.
