Wii Hard Drive?

There are rumors circulating about a Wii hard drive. The Web site Spong asked a Nintendo rep if there was any truth to the rumors. The Nintendo rep said, “It is pure rumour and spec and none of it is based in any fact or announcement.” You can read more here.

try plugging a usb drive into your wii next time you start it up. you’ll notice that on power up and when you start a game there is heavy (ish) access to the device. hmmmm…….

In the times of 8 GB SD-Cards I highly doubt the need of a harddrive only for neo-geo-roms. There would be other applications of course, I still hope for a music channel that plays all mp3/ogg/mod file you give to your wii (no, wma is not necessary- it’s m$-crap)
