Wii Amazon Sales

An article has been posted at punchjump which reports that Nintendo’s Wii brand has the top three sales on Amazon best-seller rankings.

The console system ranked first place. The second and third place items are upcoming games for the the Wii which are Super Mario Galaxy and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Both games will be published by Nintendo. I guess that the rankings include pre-order sales since the games have not been released yet.

Super Mario Galaxy will be released on November 12. Super Smash Bros. Brawl, the third game in Nintendo’s fighting game series which features various video game characters, will be released one month after Super Mario Galaxy.

Currently, the top selling games for the Wii are Wii Sports (which is not included with the console in other countries), Wii Play, a game that contains more sports games than Wii Sports and it also includes a Wii Remote which helped its sales since Wii Remotes were rare too, and Mario Party 8, the game board video game which features Nintendo characters.
