Using the Wiimote to Make a Whiteboard
11
DecSo how would you like to make yourself a “Low-Cost Multi-point Interactive Whiteboards Using the Wiimote”… well trust me it’s a lot cooler then it sounds. Well, I can’t really explain it - but watch the video below to get the full idea of it, it “stars” a guy named Johnny Lee.
According to Gizmodo.com….
Since you can hook the controller up to your computer and accept inputs using the Wiimote library interface, you can use its infrared sensors to detect and track infrared light on any kind of surface. With Johnny’s app, you can in turn use a cheap DIY IR pen as an input device and make your own whiteboard/input tablet.
So what do you guys think about this innovative idea for the Wiimote?
