Top Spin For Wii

:

For those of you who liked the tennis game for the Wii and are hoping for a better tennis experience, then you will love this news.

An article at pro-g.co.uk says that a new tennis game called Top Spin, will be released for the Nintendo Wii. The title may sound familiar to you since there have been previous tennis games that were called Top Spin. This is being developed by 2K Sports, a company who is known for their sports games which challenges Electronic Arts’ brand each year in various sports games.

The article notes that the Nunchuck will be used to move the character while the Wii Remote will be used to motion the racquet of the player. The Wii Remote will vibrate when the racquet hits the ball. Players will have the ability to make different strokes and they can control the strength of their swing when they swing their Wii Remotes.

The modes in the game include singles, doubles, exhibition, tournaments, mixed, and non-mixed matches. There will also be multi-player modes which support up to four players. The gamers can play either a standard game or a mini-game when playing in one of the multiplayer modes.

Players can start playing this game by spring 2008. Personally, I’m looking forward to this game since I like the tennis game in Wii Sports and I wanted a more realistic tennis game too.

I do not know whether there will be a tennis game that will be released earlier than this game. If there aren’t any, then 2K will make a huge profit when they release this game to the public.

The game was previously released for Xbox 360 and there is no information whether the Wii will have new features other than how the game is played when using the Wii controllers.
