The Conduit - First Party or First Person?

Well, all was gravy in the world of Nintendo fans. The conference that took place over in Japan had numerous gamers, including myself, rejuvenated and smiling with joy over some of the game announcements. Now that the North American conference is underway, there have been question marks instead of smiles.

Cammie Dunaway, came out and said that The Conduit is going to be an “exclusive First-Party shooter”. As any gamer could tell you, that’s a very confusing statement, especially the way she worded it. Is it a first-party exclusive game, or was it a simple slip of the tongue? And she meant “exclusive First Person shooter”. We’ll just have to wait and see.

While we might still be scratching our heads over that statement, there was good news as well. She reported that the game ‘will’ be ready for a Q1 2009 release. That statement leads me to believe that there is a definite chance that Nintendo will be publishing the title.
