Super Paper Mario US bound in April

Fans of Mario’s 2D escapades wondering just where on earth Super Paper Mario has gotten to look no further - it’s due out this Spring.

Thanks to the latest issue of Nintendo Power, we can reveal that Mario’s Wii-debut (that’s right, it’s out before the much-hyped Mario Galaxy) will hit shelves in North America some time this April.

No word on a European or Japanes release, but we can tell you that the game will use the Wii-mote in a horizontal position, taking the form of the classic NES D-pad. You will also receive help from a butterfly known as “Tippy”, aiding Mario in a similar way as his partners did in The Thousand Year Door.
