Super Paper Mario Dated

In a rather hilarious press release issued yesterday, Nintendo of America have confirmed the release date for Super Paper Mario.

“Nintendo of America Requests the Pleasure of Your Company at the Marriage of Peach to Bowser on the 9th Day of April 2007. The nuptials will take place at the beginning of Super Paper Mario™, which will be available for Nintendo’s hot new Wii™ home video game system. Those who wish to attend - or thwart - the ceremony will need to switch between 2-D and 3-D.”

No doubt a certain Italian plumber will fall into the thwart catagory.

The game was previously planned to be released on Gamecube, but sadly the consoles demise moved development over to the Wii.
No word on a European release date, but stick around for more information.
