Suda 51 on Heroes

Grasshopper’s Suda 51 recently held a press conference in Japan to talk about the upcoming game Heroes, exclusively for Nintendo Wii.

Suda revealed that the title was originally conceived as a PS2 game until he saw the Wii-mote in action, and decided that the title would be much more appropriate for Nintendo’s next-gen console. Furthermore, he added that there would be mulitple weapons in the game in addition to the Beam Katana.

Lastly, he also stated that the game was near completion and the firm are planning an early 2007 release date. He also expects the game to sell around 1,000,000 copies [Yes, Suda was only joking on the latter]
