Sonic Wii details

New details have emerged on Sega’s upcoming Wii-exclusive, Sonic and the Secret Rings.

According to Sonic Team’s Yojiro Ogawa, the game will span over 70 missions and take around 10 hours to complete. There’s also going to be an ample inclusion of bonus material and additional medals to collect when the main game is finished, and a multiplayer feature for up to four players.

The team had originally conceived a Sonic game in the more traditional sense [ala Sonic Adventure], but insist that, bizarrely, “deep gameplay and big adventures don’t suit the Wii philosophy”.
