Smashbros.com has updated their website and it includes information about a new Pokemon, enemies from subspace, and Snake’s special moves.
I’ll start off by talking about the Enemies From Subspace. In the article, eight of the enemies are listed and their names are Roader, Poppant, Bytan, Trowlon, Shaydas, Auroros, Greap, and the R.O.B. Squad.
All of these are just one character/machine except for the R.O.B. Squad which consists of three robots that can hover.
The second update is Piplup. It is a chick-looking Pokemon and it is blue. It can use a surf move and one of the screen shots shows the graphic effect when he does this move. It works best in simple stages according to the article.
The last update is about Snake’s special moves and three of them are described in the article complete with screen shots which demonstrate how the move is performed by this character.
The side special move is called Remote Missile. It is also called Nikita. Players can move the missile but they can’t control Snake while he is performing this move.
The standard special move is Hand Grenade and it can be performed in three different ways, from a soft throw to a strong throw.
The up special move helps him to fly up when he falls of a building or a cliff.
I think these moves are more useful compared to the other characters’ special moves. In my opinion, the Remote Missile should only be used if you are far away from an enemy.
