Rumor: Okami Heading To Wii?

IGN are reporting that PS2 paint brush adventure Okami could be heading to Nintendo Wii.

According to a “reliable industry insider unaffiliated with Capcom”, the Wii version would include the added ability of using the Wii remote to make use of the games magical paint brush.

Still, IGN contacted Capcom Europe and got the following answer: “Officially we have no plans for Okami on Wii at this time. Research and development are always looking at possibilities but given Clover is now closed for business, I think it highly unlikely a Wii version would be possible.”
Officially, it doesn’t seem possible, but then again, how many times have we heard that before? Stay tuned for more information.
