Resident Evil 4 tamed for Wii

:

No flying limbs? No splattering blood? That can’t be RE4, can it?

In some pretty shocking news, it has been revealed that the Nintendo Wii version of Resident Evil 4 (known in Japan as Biohazard 4) has been heavily censored. That’s right folks, censored. No longer will arms or limbs flail off zombie corpses, and remember all that blood splattering that could be mustered up in previous versions? GONE.

You have got to be kidding, Capcom. What else is planned, Leon riding a Yoshi?

Apparently this is ONLY true of the Japanese version, as the Japanese versions of the game for both Gamecube and PS2 were also censored.
