Three new titles are now available for the Virtual Console for North American fans. The titles are Legend of Hero Tonma, Kirby’s Avalanche, and Streets of Rage 3.
The first game is an action game where players control a character named Tonma. He can use magic powers and his goal is to rescue a princess in another world. The game has at least seven stages. Two of Tonma’s basic attacks are his jumping ability and shooting power. There will also be power-ups for both offensive and defensive purposes. The article from nintendorevolution.ca says that the game has comic-style visuals.
The second game was released for Super Nintendo and it costs 800 Wii Points. The familiar characters and enemies are present in the game including Kirby’s arch-rival, Kind Dedede. You, as Kirby, must win the First Annual Dream Land Avalanche Competition to finish the game.
Finally, the third game is a beat-em-up game and most fans of beat-em-up games probably know this series very well since it was very popular. In this game, you get to pick your playable character from a total of three characters named Axel, Skate, and Blaze. This is a two-player game as far as I know although it is not mentioned in the article.
Among those three games, the Kirby game would probably sell more downloads than the other two but I expect Streets of Rage 3 to be not far behind.
