If you have the Bongos for Donkey Konga games and you have not used them for a while because you got bored of them, do not throw them away or sell them yet because there is a news that they can be used to play an upcoming game called Plattchen: Twist ‘N’ Paint. This game will be available via WiiWare service.
“The game perfectly works with one Wiimote. If you like, you can also choose to add your Nunchuck and, as we can exclusively announce today, PLÄTTCHEN – twist ‘n’ paint will be compatible with the Nintendo GameCube DK Bongos for the ultimate party fun,” said Bernd Geiblinger who is the Art Director at Bplus. Bplus is the name of the developing company for this game.
Geiblinger also talked about the features of the game and this is what he said:
“What really shifts PLÄTTCHEN apart from these classics is the absolute freedom players enjoy thanks to the unique gameplay mechanic. In PLÄTTCHEN there exists the possibility to beat each of the levels, which are all non-random, perfectly with hundreds of possible solutions. And, in addition to the puzzle skills this genre naturally demands, players will need all of their shooting abilities and all of their tactical thinking to beat the various challenges of PLÄTTCHEN – twist ‘n’ paint. An online multiplayer mode would certainly be cool, but currently our focus completely lies on making the game as good as possible. Would you really want an online multiplayer mode? Would it be your reason to buy the game? If you like, you may start a poll about this and then we will discuss that again.”
