Well, I'll always hold a special place in my heart for Majora's Mask. It's a great game, and I agree with the points that you make.

I think what MM lacks compared to OoT and TP, is an epic feel. When I got done with OoT and TP I felt as though I completed this sprawling epic and had a wonderful sense of accomplishment.

While MM has a good story, it just didn't provide that same feeling.

In my circle it is considered superior ;)
I find it to be more immersive and convincing than it's predecessor.
Many characters obtain a new level of depth and credibilty thanks to the detailed side quests. This really helps you to relate to your environment.
The Storyline and gameplay is innovative and beautiful, the entire game design is gorgeous and I also like the mask inventory that gives you a new approach at your skill and ability system. (BIG Plus --> Fierce Deity ;) )
The only downside is probably the number of dungeons. But I believe the rest totally makes up for this. And I actually like playing most of the game outside of those creepy dungeons.

In comparison to OoT, WW and TP I think MM has the best ratio of size and content. While playing those other games I always felt somehow lonely in a vast but empty world, whereas MM is very much alive.

Majoras Mask is so far my favourite title due to its very own style. (Just look at this Skull Kid wearing the Mask *_*)

Oh btw. I already had this game a month ago. Never thought good old PAL region could be faster than the US ;)
