New WiiWare Developer: Steel Penny Games

Recently Steel Penny Games, formerly Naughty Dog Software employees, announced that they were signing with Nintendo into their WiiWare program. Currently Steel Penny is hard at work on their original IP, “Bruiser & Scratch”.

Here is a quote from the official release for the game…

Steel Penny Games states that the upcoming title blends a challenging puzzle game with dramatic fantasy environments and appealing characters for an exceptionally satisfying experience. Other details about the upcoming product are not available at this time.

Hopefully more well known game studios will follow in the footsteps of Steel Penny and join the WiiWare initiative.

The challenge for online gaming software developer is to adhere and set itself apart from its competitors through customized gaming solutions. Believing that needs are different for everyone; the next breakthrough online game would be the one that has answered that need.
