For those who were wondering when you could make a pre-order purchase of New Super Mario Bros., your opportunity is already here. Just days after its announcement, Gamestop already has it available on their website. Not only is a pre-order available, but they have a release date of 11/02/09 posted. As always, the release dates are subject to change.

Nice, this will be perfect to play with my wife. Looking forward to it quite a bit, though not as much as Wii Sports Resort and SMG 2 (not to mention Metroid : Other M!)

playing super mario brothers (wiiware) is hard with the wiimote. timing is awfull .(high latency)
Playing new super mario bros on the DS was a treat to behold.
WHY oh WHY didn’t they just release new super mario bros for the wii aswell.
Then release this latest version for wii and ds……
Nintendo are really annoying when it comes to dealing with popular games.
eg.. mario versus donkeyKong [ 1 for gba ... 2 for DS ... 3 for DSi(only) ] ALL theese game should be available for DS.
OK. they don’t care about the GBA 1… Not porting it to DS……..
3 exclusivly for the DSi….. lets get people who have a DS to buy exactly the same DS (with added camera and a small screen size increase) YEAH RITE …. MAKE THE SYSTEM/GRAPHICS BETTER AND STOP TRYING TO RIP US OFF.

It’s not a kids toy, it’s a game system. buying every game on the ps2 would be like over $100,000. its not like buying every part to a cheap tech deck is over 30,00 dollers

This looks really awesome, I loved the New Super Mario Bros. on the DS… I love how there’s 4-player co-op in this also!! I’ll be getting this as soon as it comes out, same thing for Super Galaxy 2 (SMG2) I’ve watched the gameplay videos for this so many times, it looks amazing!!! What other awesome adventures will Mario take us on next? =)

This game will be a total let down like galaxy and SSBB. The new super mario bros wont even beat the classic atari 2600 game E.T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Super mario bros 3 (for the SNES) will still be the best game in nintendo history!I reccomend you buy it on the wii (requires a classic control though for easier game play). Still cant wait for it to come out Mario bros to come out…they arent going to release it on 11/02/09 im pretty sure they will change it.
