New Game For Sonic Fans

There will be a new video game for the Wii which features SEGA’s mascot, Sonic.

The title of the game will be Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity. This will be a racing game and it will provide futuristic-inspired tracks and gamers will travel as far as outer space. The characters in the game will have speed boosts and players will take control of two new unique gravity control moves.

“Speed and agility is what built the Sonic franchise. Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity offers long-time Sonic fans, and newcomers alike, the adrenaline-pumping gameplay and moves that made the blue hedgehog famous, while adding a plethora of completely new elements to the Sonic world. Packed with new and innovative features, Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity delivers a rush that gamers can’t resist,” said Scott Steinberg who is the Vice President of Marketing for SEGA of America.

Vehicles, multiplayer modes, and all-new playable characters are also included in the game. The release from SEGA did not say whether it will have an online mode.

The scheduled release date of this game is February of next year.

According to the article, this will be the third Wii game where Sonic will make an appearance. The first one was Sonic and the Secret Rings. Then, he will appear on the olympic games with Nintendo and other SEGA characters which will be released this winter.
