New FPS in development?

Rumours are circulating that the Wii will be receiving yet another incarnatino of a popular FPS franchise - although we aren’t quite sure what it will be just yet.
IGN recently reported “…let’s just say we’re hearing rumblings of Wii-specific versions of at least one of the main FPS franchises out there.”
“Oh, and when we say “Wii-specific†we don’t mean tacked on controls that claim to make it a new experience. We’re talking an immersive, competitive experience built from the ground up for Wii.â€
With so many substandard ports appearing on the Wii, this is exceedingly good news. Stay tuned for more information.

Oh, by the by, I got my hands on a Wii two weeks ago. I only bought Zelda. It couldn’t believe how fun it was.

Also, I’m in Japan so of course I got the Japanese Wii console. If you have any questions about what games are available on the online store, or anything else about the Japanese version please let me know.
