The fact sheet of the upcoming Wii game called Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn has been updated.
Here are some of the things that you can expect from playing the game:
1. The players can choose from dozens of different characters, which include characters who use close-range weapons such as swords and long-range weapons such as bows and magic.
2. As your characters gain more experience fighting together, the more they will gain higher strengths and increase their fighting abilities.
3. If a character dies, you cannot bring him or her back to life unlike most role playing games.
4. The North American version will support 16:9 widescreen viewing aspect.
5. You can customize your units with special abilities. For example, you can make one of your characters attack multiple times or let him or her move through enemies who block their paths. Just like any other strategy/RPG games, the skills that players can assign to a character is limited so players need to plan carefully on what type of upgrade they want to do to their characters.
6. This game includes a new terrain-height system. This means characters who are on a high ground have an advantage against their enemies who are standing on lower ground.
7. Trailer cinemas have been included to add a cinematic feel for the game.
8. A “Battle Save” function is available. This feature lets you save in the middle of the game. I think this will be very useful for those fights that take a long time to complete.
9. Several controller options are available. The Wii Remote can be played vertically or horizonally. Players can also use a Gameube controller to play the game.
