There have been questions raised, as to just how much of an impact Wii Fit has on weight loss. Some experts claim it can’t do a whole lot, while others say with a balanced diet can provide the needed exercise for a healthy lifestyle.
Heath Bell is another voice saying that Wii Fit can do what it claims. The San Diego Padre closer went on ESPN’s First Take yesterday, to explain how he was able to get in shape during the off season. By ‘in shape’, he says he lost 25lbs. He claims that ’70%’ of this weight loss was due to Wii Fit. He goes on to mention some of the gameplay elements of Wii Fit. How the game told him he was obese, and how that sparked him changing his eating habits and exercising properly.
All of that is great, but I really want to know is where he got that t-shirt. It’s pretty sweet, and I’d sport one for sure. It was also cool to hear that he plays some Mario Kart: Wii, MLB Power Pros, and Guitar Hero with the kids. You gotta diversify your palette.
So, for those who are or have used Wii Fit have you noticed a changed in weight loss?
