Miyamoto Tells You To Wait For Kid Icarus

Slowly but surely, Kid Icarus is becoming the ‘Duke Nukem Forever’ of the Nintendo World. It seems like a Kid Icarus game has been rumored for as long as the Nintendo Wii has been available. The funny thing is that Nintendo has never claimed to even be working on a Kid Icarus game. All the information regarding the project has stemmed from rumors and hearsay from online gaming publications.

So, the question still remains. Is Kid Icarus going to be coming out?

Nintendo Power asked this very question to Miyamoto. The great Shigeru Miyamoto simply had this to say…

“Wait, please. I’m really surprised how popular that is. But you are the first person to ask at this E3!”

So, there you have it. Miyamoto has requested that we all enact the virtue of patience, but I highly doubt that he was the first person to ask him about Kid Icarus. I think there are teams dedicated to cracking the mystery behind the Kid Icarus game, who are deciphering the simple answer provided by Miyamoto as I’m typing this.
