XBox Europe boss Richard Teversham has cast doubt over the launch of Nintendo’s upcoming console, the Wii.
Speaking to MCV, Teversham, who also criticised Sony’s launch plans and price for the PS3, stated “And although Wii is almost a GameCube with a DVD drive, is Nintendo going to have enough quantity to satisfy the demand?â€
The Gamecube comparison is an easy target, considering how the Wii’s graphics are not such a huge exaggeration over that of its predecessor. In a related note, this marks a rare instance where Microsoft have spoken negatively [albeit only slightly] on the Wii.
