Metroid Prime 3: Corruption – Coming Soon!

Well the info is out for Metroid Prime 3 for the Wii, which unfortunately looks to not include online play, but should satisfy fans of the franchise nonetheless.

The game releases on August 20, and will make use of the Wii Remote and the Nunchuk. According to GoNintendo:

Players will be able to grasp and pull things by using actual arm movements, as well as execute amazing feats like aiming and blasting in midair or at a full run. The game also incorporates a new system involving Phazon. If you fill Samus’ Phazon supply to a certain level, Samus will temporarily go into hyper mode, a state in which she can pull off incredible feats; on the flip side, if she exceeds the maximum Phazon level, she’ll perish. Also, for the first time in the Metroid series, Samus’ ship will be used in active game play.

The wii has done nothing but disapointed me . Where is the online play and where are the games that are supposed to be revolutionary. Im not new to gaming but like other games not just metroid Prime nintendo has missed the boat. There needs to be online play and nintendo has to start and make games that aren’t somethign out of a childrens book. Wheres the games like halo…a fun multiplayer game WITH ONLINE PLAY!!!! So WTF nintendo. GEt with it.

Yeah Nintendo you need to get you heads out of your freakin butts and makes some games that are online. The PS3 may not be as good as the Wii but at least they are making efforts and putting out online games. Nintendo start making online games. That is one of the main reasons I bought the Wii.
