Mario Kart Items
Two Mario Kart items, an alarm clock and a phone, have been reported by slashgear.com
You can check out the photos of these items in the article.
The alarm clock item shows a digital clock in the front bumper of the kart. The tail of this item contains an antenna. This is used for its AM/FM radio functionality. The owners can also decide whether they want to wake up to a buzzer or the radio. I wonder if the Buzzer is a familiar sound effect from a Nintendo game.
The other item, the phone, looks very similar to the kart item. The difference is that there is no digital clock on the front bumper and that there is a yellow-colored phone at the back of Mario’s chair in the kart. A picture is included on what the phone looks like when it is lifted. As you can see, the placement of the numbers is not the same as other digital touch tone phones. Instead of of a squared arrangement, this phone features a circular arrangement. One other minor detail is that Mario is holding a yellow flag in one of his hands.
The radio retails for $39.95 while the phone costs $20 more. The article does not include any details as to whether the phone has been released or whether it will be released worldwide.
I think it is a great gift for a Mario fan. Personally, I liked the design of it. It is colorful and I think it also looks cool.
