Manhunt 2

:

For those of who were disappointed that Rockstar’s game called “Manhunt 2″ was banned in North America, then this news will delight you. Well, delight may not be the right word to describe the game.

Anyway, it has been announced officially that Manhunt 2 will be released for the Nintendo Wii along with the Playstation 2 and PSP versions on October 31, Halloween.

The game will be an M-rated version instead of the original version which ESRB gave a rating of AO for Adults Only.

This game will still include stuff that gamers are familiar with from other Rockstar games that were released such as strong language, intense violence, strong sexual content and use of drugs.

The founder and executive producer of Rockstar Games said, “Manhunt 2 is important to us, and we’re glad it can finally be appreciated as a gaming experience.”

He added that, “We love the horror genre. Manhunt 2 is a powerful piece of interactive story telling that is a unique video game experience. We think horror fans will love it.”

Another comment was given by the Chairman of Take-Two, Strauss Zelnick and he said, Manhunt 2 is an extraordinary game, and we eagerly anticipate its release in North America.”

I play rated M games such as Mortal Kombat Armageddon on my Nintendo Wii and The Getaway on my PS2 from time to time but I don’t think I would want to play this type of game.

If I saw it in a clearance bin at a store in the future, then maybe I would buy the game.

What about you? Are you planning on buying this on its release date?
