Chart-Attack has released a report on the top selling games in the UK. Unlike previous charts which used to combine the number of sales for a game that was released for multiple systems, this new chart shows only games from a single hardware system. If a game was released for multiple systems, then the system with the most sales of the game is listed to represent the game.
The first one on the list is Wii Play. I think it was also number 1 on the last chart so I am not surprised that it is still sitting on the 1st place spot.
The next game that sold the most copies for the Nintendo Wii system is Trauma Center: Second Opinion. I have heard about this game ever since it was released but I have not played it yet. I have read that it is a good game so I may play it in the future.
Mario Party 8, a game that was recently released in Europe, is located on the 10th spot.
In the former arrangement of the chart, Transformers: The Game would have been number 1 since it sold the most games combined for all video game platforms. Now, it is located on the fifth spot and it sold the most copies for the Playstation 2 system.
If you are a Nintendo fan, you would be happy with the results since 9 out of the 10 games on the list are games that were released for Nintendo systems.
