GTA Potentially Coming To The Wii?

Are you ready for an interesting/fun fact this morning, or afternoon? Rockstar has released a GTA licensed game on every single system in the current generation — except the Nintendo Wii. Even the adorable little Nintendo DS has seen some GTA action, with the release of Chinatown Wars.

We’re inevitably left with this question. Will we ever see a GTA game on the Wii?

Eurogamer asked this very question to Ben Feder, CEO of Take-Two. Here’s his response…

Nintendo’s been a terrific partner for us. We always look at ways in which we can bring our games to platforms that make sense for our games. We’re eager to work with Nintendo to bring our games to their platforms. We just haven’t yet defined the right title for the right platform.

Like in most cases, we get the shaft when it comes to information. I can’t imagine a reason why they wouldn’t want GTA on the Nintendo Wii. It has the largest install base of the three consoles. Also, what makes beating up a hooker for some money even more fun? Motion controls.
