First Gameplay Footage Of Skate It

For those of you who want more out of their balance board than just getting into shape can look to EA for solace. If you haven’t been keeping up, Skate It has been announced for awhile as a skateboarding game that will utilize the balance board. There have been some screenshots and previews pop up here and there, but no video of gameplay to show off the title or balance board support.

There have been rumors as of late that EA is going to ship a balance board attachment to make the experience more authentic. EA has since quashed the rumor, “That’s something I haven’t heard… Our focus is just working with what’s provided by Nintendo. There’s not an extra piece…it’s not about fitness, it’s about having fun“. Just because an exec makes a statement like this doesn’t necessarily make it true, as it might be something they want officially released at E3.

A video has now surfaced, giving a limited glimpse of what Skate It looks like during gameplay. I’ll keep the comments to a minimum and let you enjoy the video yourself. The one thing I will say is how impressed I am with the graphics at this point. This video is a pretty grainy YouTube submission, and Skate It still looks impressive.
