Epic: “no plans right now”

Epic Games have confirmed that the company currently have no plans to develop for Nintendo’s next-gen console, the Wii.

Speaking at the recent Gears of War launch party, Epic’s Preston Throne, Q&A manager for Gears, stated “I love the idea of the Wii, taking a paradigm and completely changing it. For shooters getting the accuracy is really hard. Graphically, we couldn’t even get he engine on the Wii.”

“Epic has no plans right now, but in the future who knows”, he concluded.
