Splinter Cell: Double Agent won’t be sneaking its way on to Wii as planned.
Yesterday at Microsoft’s annual X06 press conference, the company announced that it has acquired exclusive rights to Ubisoft’s latest stealth romp, which will now only be available on Xbox 360 and Windows PC.
The next chapter in the series, the recently revealed Splinter Cell: Conviction however, is currently on track for all next-gen consoles including Wii.
UPDATE:
Apologies folks. Double Agent is indeed heading to the Wii although its successor, the recently leaked Conviction, will be an Xbox 360 exclusive. Blame it on the ambiguous X06 live feeds!
