Nintendo’s Wii console has reached the 1 million sales mark worldwide, we can confirm.
Confirmed by president Iwata this week at the Foreign Correspondents Club (FCC), the Wii has sold 600,000 units in North America, and a further 400,000 in its native Japan.

With the Wii’s anticipated Japanese release less than 24 hours away, Famitsu magazine have scored a couple more games for the system.
Those of you who are interested, the mag gave Wii Sports 7/7/8/8 (32/40) and Wii Play 7/7/6/8 (30/40)
