Cool Mii Editor

Since uploading images of your Mii directly from your Wii isn’t an option yet (that I know of), we’ve been pretty much limited to using photos of our TV screens if we wanted to show off our Mii creations online. Now there is a better way. There is now a free Mii Editor we can use. The only downside being you have to recreate your Mii, but it’s better than nothing for sure.

The editor is web based, so it’s just a matter of clicking the link to load the page and you’re off. Some of the options aren’t 100% accurate (I couldn’t resize my goatee for example and you can’t see your height/weight) – but nothing that’s an issue for a headshot… which is what we’re after here. It’s still fun to play with and great for generating your Mii image to use as an avatar in forums or something.

I didn’t realize this at first, but you can actually created these Mii characters and get them onto your actual Wii. That’s pretty huge. You can assign your web based creation a MAC address to so you will be able to edit him/her/it from your Wii’s Mii channel. There is a great set of instructions for how to do this over at the Mii Mega Mall.

Isn’t it cool how much fun making a Mii can be?  I never in a million years thought I would like or be even slightly interested in creating a Mii.  It’s crazy fun though.
