Nintendo’s announcements at E3 take place this morning. Bruce Kelly’s predictions may or may not reflect the E3 reality.
The buzz will give way to the truth soon, but before the Nintendo executives finish their morning tea, Kelly has some ideas about what they might disclose about the Wii today:
- Super Mario Galaxy (coming November) and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (end of August or delayed till September) draws amazing attention and jaw-drops around the press conference room.
- Two new Wii channels announced (Prediction: Wii Ware and a music channel/Nintendo Power Magazine channel?)
- Revised Online Structure: Mii’s possibly now used as a way to give yourself a unique online ID. Animal Crossing could be the first game to feature this, with full online and WiiConnect24 capabilities.
Some of the really good stuff, like Super Smash Bros. Brawl, seems destined for a Tokyo Game Show debut, according to Kelly.
