Boom Blox - Releasing To “Spielberg” Like Reviews

Jaws, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, are all movie series that Spielberg has his reputation attached to. So, maybe AI, and War Of The Worlds, weren’t the greatest movies, but hey nobody’s perfect. With Boom Blox, Spielberg stakes his reputation on a physics based puzzle game developed and published by EA. As the reviews keep pouring in, it looks like he did alright by slapping his name on this title.

I was really hoping that this game was going to flop. Not because I get a creepy happiness from seeing games do bad, but I just have way too much gaming already. With the release of Mario Kart:Wii, GTA IV on the 360, and blowing my Bush money on a PS3, my schedule is already packed (yes, I now own the trifecta of gaming consoles). But the more I hear about Boom Blox, the more it looks like I’m going to have to cram another game into my schedule. Hmm Boom Blox, looks like I’ll have to fit you in between my Koopa Troopa pwning at 7pm, and my dirty underworld kahooting at 9.
