Bomberman Land

A new Bomberman is scheduled to be released for the Nintendo Wii. The game will be called Bomberman Land.

This game features many mini-games and the traditional Bomberman battles will also be available for this game which is scheduled to be released in the first month of next year. There will be at least 50 mini-games according to the article at nintendic.com. If a player unlocked a mini-game, then it will be available to be played as a multiplayer game and three more people can join the first player to play the mini-game.

There are four screen shots that were posted with the article but there are only actually three different images since the first and the second image are exactly the same. Those first two images show Bomberman in an archery mini-game. There are no details about how the Wii controllers will be used but I guess that the Wiimote will be used as a bow (and players have to hold it vertically) while the nunchuk will be used to make a pulling motion.

The second picture shows him in a fountain. If you look at the top of the image, you can see a dragon. I am not sure if it is a static thing like a statue or if it is actually a real character in the game.

The fourth image shows a multiplayer game. I guess the objective in this one is to push the other characters/players out of bounds.

I’m not a Bomberman fan but it will be interesting to compare this game to other similar games such as Mario Party 8 and Carnival Games.
