I know it might be uppity of me, but I’ve never taken cosplayers seriously. Not that I think I’m better for not doing it, it’s just that I find cosplay so goofy most of the time. Sometimes though, a cosplay comes along that impresses, and improves my opinion towards the hobby.
One thing that this cosplayer has going for her is that she’s attractive. Which is a trait I think all cosplayers should have, so atleast if the costume sucks there’s one nice thing to look at.
This cosplayer goes by the name ThaÃs Jussim, and has created a spectacular Samus Aran cosplay outfit. Here’s some pics of her below. She’s got the sexiness of Samus down, along with the badassness of the suit. Double threat…

She sure is attractive, but I still like the Japanese Cosplay better, they are much more in to the make ups

I Fail to see any Japanese Samus Cosplay that was good.
Pixel Ninja Is the only other great Samus Cosplay I’ve seen…. and this cosplay plays even hers…..
This Cosplay ROCK! It’s Like a Live action videogame!

So far I haven’t seen any good Samus Cosplay excepts for Pixel Ninja. And her Suit looked very improvised on the body.
This one indeed comes very close to the original, and is definitaly the best I ever came across. Oh how I wish there was a movie so you could see that suit in motion.
I really wonder to what length these people went to build it and how many were involved. This is clearly beyond normal fan work.
