Activision Replacing Guitar Hero 3 discs… For Free
Were you one of the people bummed when you found out that Guitar Hero 3, for the Wii, only provided Mono output? Well today you can rejoice… it’s been announced that your disc can be upgraded for free to one that allows for stereo output.

“We recently became aware that some consumers have not been able to enjoy the full audio output in the Nintendo Wii version of Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock,” said Activision spokesperson Rhy-Ming Poon. “We expect to have re-mastered discs available by early 2008 and we will be offering consumers replacement discs at no cost once they become available.”
All of the other console versions of the game have both mono and stereo output
According to TGDaily.com The replacement discs will be readily available in early 2008… though it’s not been stated the procedure to secure a replacement disc.
