‘08 Madden For Wii To Go Online

Those of you who are good at Madden, rejoice. Those of you who aren’t so good . . . well, you may like this development, anyway. It turns out that Madden ’08 for the Nintendo Wii is going to be online.

Digital Something’s Jeremy Pluta Sr. appears to have broken the news, and he categorizes “[t]he fact that the Wii version is going to have online play” as “excellent.” If you feel the same way, you might thank Jeremy for his work by not “stomping” him in online play (his implication, by the way, not mine).

One slightly disappointing detail within all this is the revelation that voice chat will not be available. I’m sure you can live with that, though. Happy Madden-ing.
